Alignment
 
An excellent key word for alignment is parallel lines. The reason is we are trying to set our body line parallel to our target line which creates parallel lines ====.  Many students feel as though they must aim their shoulders or body towards the target but it is not our body that we want to go to the target, it is the golf ball! The following is more insight into alignment:
 
~ Always practice with a club at your feet. This will help you aim consistently and train your minds eye.
~ Use an intermediate target to help you aim on the golf course and practice this on the driving range.
~ Make sure your intermediate target is not more than three feet in front of your ball. (It is just as hard to aim at a piece of grass 20 feet in front of you as a target 200 yards away). This will also allow you to see your intermediate target when you are addressing the ball.

St. Matthew's House LogoThe Naples Grande Golf School is conducting a Holiday Food Drive for St. Matthew's House. The golf school is offering ½ price lessons for food donations, November 1st through December 20th. Call today to set up a lesson and donate to a great cause!

Lifeline Family CenterI would like to thank everyone who offered donations and pledges. As a group we raised well over $15,000 for Lifeline Family Center. I am proud to announce that our team won the event and even more excited (thanks to your donations) I was the golf professional that raised the most money. Thank you again to everyone who participated!

Clinic Schedule

Golf BallsLadies Clinics
Learn to play golf or take your game to the next level with a group of fun loving ladies. Clinics begin Monday, November 10th at 9:00 am and meet each week at 9:00 am through Monday, April 13th.
 
Men's Practice with the Pro's
Get your game ready for the Thursday Men's Group or other competitions with an hour of professional coaching from the golf school staff. Clinics begin Wednesday, November 5th at 3:00 pm and meet each week at 3:00 pm through Wednesday, April 15th.

Golf School Happenings
Upcoming Golf Schools
 
Course Management Golf School
Friday, Nov. 21st; 4 ~ 6 pm
$100 per student, plus appropriate greens fee
Players will learn how to lower scores on the course using individual strengths while minimizing weaknesses.

Junior Golf
After School Junior Clinics
 
Junior GolferClinics will be held every Tuesday and Thursday. Each session is one hour from 4:00 - 5:00 pm and players of all skill levels are welcome.

The program is available to all junior golfers, ages 7-15. Enrollment is limited to the first 12 players each week. The cost is $20 per junior, per session. All instruction will be given by the Naples Grande Golf School staff and will include rules of golf, etiquette, short game basics and golf swing fundamentals.
 
Holiday Junior Camp
 
The Naples Grande Golf School will also conduct a three day junior camp Monday, December 29th - Wednesday, December 31st. The camp will run from 9:00 - 11:00 am each morning and players of all skill levels are welcome. The cost is $150 per junior and will be limited to the first 12 juniors.
